In today's digitalized world, sharing memories is the easiest it's ever been. Websites like Facebook, Instagram, FamilySearch and Ancestry make it easy to share your memories with loved ones around the world. But if you're like me, many of your photos are still stuck in albums or boxes somewhere. While the physical items are absolutely precious, they are also prone to loss or damage. Even photos, slides, or negatives that have been carefully stored will degrade over time. Colors fade, dust accumulates, items become scratched or discolored. Having digital copies allows you to not only share your memories with friends and family, it also ensures that there are backup copies in case the worst should happen to your originals.

How can I help? I will scan and digitize your photos so you can more easily preserve, store, and share them with your loved ones. I'm also locally based right here in Harford County, Maryland, so no need to send anything through the mail! If you have some photos you'd like to preserve and share more easily, reach out!

Pricing

Loose Photos

30¢ each ($10 minimum)

photos not in any sort of album or covers
sizes from 2x2 up to 16x20 (can be larger if needed)
all photos edited for dust and other minor flaws
includes basic editing for contrast and exposure
Orders with more than 100 photos will be charged a discounted rate of 25¢ per photo

Album Photos

50¢ each ($10 minimum)

for when you don't want to pull all those photos out of the album!
any album where photos can be slipped in and out (not glued or taped down)
any size bigger than 2x2
photos will be returned to your album in the same order originally received
all photos edited for dust and other minor flaws
includes basic editing for contrast and exposure

Flatbed Photos

$1.50 each ($10 minimum)

photos smaller than 2x2
photos needing high resolution scans (for large prints)
extra special photos (weddings, family photos, special occasions, formal photos, etc.)
all photos edited for dust and other minor flaws
includes basic editing for contrast and exposure

Scrapbooks

$1.50 per page*

scrapbooks or albums where photos cannot be removed (taped or glued down)
each page scanned as a whole image
all photos edited for dust and other minor flaws
*add on (additional 75¢ per page): scan each photo on the page and save it as an individual photo (in addition to getting each page of the scrapbook scanned, you will get all the photos inside scanned as individual photos)

Photo Organizing

$10 per 100 photos

$10 for 100 photos, $20 for 200, etc.
all photos will be placed in folders you determine (such as 'Christmas 1987')
all files within that folder will be named after that folder (such as 'Christmas 1987-1', 'Christmas 1987-2', etc.)

Photo Labeling

50¢ per photo

50¢ per photo (does not include price of scanning)
all photos will be given a unique file name with dates and a short description, if provided
default label format is “YYYYMMDD-# description” (for example: "19860503-1 Baby's first steps")
